VEDANTA PAPER ON 27th AUGUST CHENNAI

Hi friends .i am final year student of chemical engineering got placed in vedanta this was my 7th company,so always keep patience and confidence and wait for a lucky day.

the company expects that you fulfill technical skills and have general command on the core subjects.On 27th august vedanta conducted campus drive for our batch in which students of the branches EEE, ECE, MECH, ICE AND CHEMICAL participated.

totally 37 students appeared out of which 21 cleared the aptitude test out of which 12 were selected for the interview after GD and finally 4 out of 12 were selected.

In aptitude test questions were from R.S.AGARWAL quantitative book related to percentage ,trains,boats,profit and loss,average,number analogy, data interpretation,venn diagrams.. so for venn diagrams go through R.S.AGARWAL verbal ability book . for GD you should express yourself and you should just speak something relevant to the topic.

for the INTERVIEW,they will ask questions regarding your area of interest ,industrial training ,industrial visit(if any) and some easy questions from mccabe,like types of heat exchangers ,steam traps,flow characterstics of fluid,name of some heat transfer equipments,some of the mechanical operations name...so technical will be easy,they just ask basic questions...if you have one year break in studies.than you should carry some proof in interview because they are very strict regarding this.

Be confident and always have faith in yourself and keep a smiling face in interview.
