Hi friends........,
I am Deepika and I have attended the off campus interviews of INFOTECH
in CBIT College,Gandipet. The test pattern is rather sinple and less
tedious. The main and the foremost thing is 'FASTNESS'. It comprises of
four sections.
i)APTITUDE TEST , ii) GROUP DISCUSSION , iii)TECHNICAL Interview , iv)
HR Interview
i)The Aptitude was divided into 3 other sub sections(50 Q).
a)Quant(30 Q) b)Comprehension(9 Q) c)Synonyms(3 Q) d)Antonyms(3 Q) e)
Bars n graphs(5 Q).
a) Consisted of small fractions, ratios , proportions, 2 to 3 problems
on time n distance, boats n streams , areas etc,,. Coming to the
fractios the questions were like,,,
1) Which is greater among 19/18 , 9/17 , 2/3 ...??
2) Which fraction lies b/w 5/2 and 3/5....?? etc....,,,
All the others were rather easy to finish and freinds!!!! just a brief
review over all the above topics will definitely assure u to the next
round.
b) Comprehension was related to "icc and its originity".
c) Bars n graphs were very ,very simple as the answers were almost
hidden in the graphs( figures ) only.
Fastness in the main criteria here. But, that should not possess
inaccuracy,Both of them (fastness and accuracy) should move with the
same pace.
ii) I was shortlisted n then we, Switched over to the GD session wich
consisted of 10 members in each group.Initially the topic was:
"Individual's role in communal harmony in india."
Nobody in our group were aware of that so, upon the request(of me) he
altered it to:
"Women's role in the nation's development."
Everybody argued and finally, only two of them were selected for the
next round in wich I was also there.The other topics wich my friends
went through were :
"Should a foreign coach be recruited for team india's victory in the
world tour?"
"advertising softdrinks by celebrities should be banned or not?"
etc,,,....
Coming to the Technical interview,he greeted me with a wide smile n it
went on as follows:
Q: Ok deepika! how did u feel abt the aptitude and GD?
Me:It was rather easy sir.
Q: So,do u have gud communication skills?(since in GD i secured more
weightage for it),Prove urself?
Me: Sir , how could i? Just give me some topic i'll speak over it and
put my views infront of u so dat u can judge from dat.
Q: Your topic is multivibrators,Now speak for over 5 min.
Me: Said (quite impressed).
Q: Wat r ur strengths?
Me: Said( asked to give an example for one of them).
Q:Wat r ur hobbies?
Me:As it includes reading books he, asked me to give a brief view of the
recently novel wich u read.
Q:Why is ur % (from 10th to B.Tech) is taking a decreasing curve?
Me:Said.
Q:What do u know abt amplifiers?
Me:(class A , B , C , AB)said abt them but not upto the mark.Even though
it was not satisfactory as i was very confident abt watever i said he
just listened to it.
So on soforth,he asked me abt my paper presentation,a bit of C-language(stacks),a
bit of Microprocessors and operating systems.
All this went on for over 30 min. Later I was summoned for HR
interview,It lasted for just 5-6 min.He asked me my EAMCET rank,family
background,bond n pay awareness.He also offered to chose b/w S/w n H/w,being
an electronic student,T chose the latter.He was quite impressed by my
answers in the interview.
The next day I was selected and mine was the very 1st name out of the
whole college wich comprised(the list) of only 4 members.As it is a
off-campus around 15-20 colleges came uo n abt 50-199 cleared the 1st
round n finally among 40-5- people(from all the colleges) I was
shortlisted. HURRAY!!!!!!
FRIENDS! I'd say something dat "don't lose hope and try,try until u
succeed"b'coz I was the live example for dat. I was unable to clear a
single written test of abt 8 companies(CTS , WIPRO , INFOSYS ,
INTERGRAPH , SYNTEL , SONATA , ACCENTURE AND CONVERGYS) and was unable
to a ttend 2 others(MAQ |
