HSBC PAPER ON 2nd APRIL
Hi, I m Lakhan Lalla, i attended the campus drive of HSBC GLTi. at BIT,
Durg.
It consisted of three stages..
1. Written Test.
2. Technical Interview.
3. HR
The written test was further subdivided in 4 sections:
1. English ( quite easy)
2. Analytical and logical questions (a bit confusing but not tough)
3. Aptitude ( i found that section a bit tough... R.S .. will merely
help)
4. Technical section (basics and questions available at
freshersworld)(Data structures and C)
I cleared the written test..
Here is what i was asked by the Interviewer in the Technical part...
1. Tell me abt ur self . then he introduced himself.
2.ur current sem subjects.
3. why java is platform independent?( i answered)
4. types of joins?(i answered)
5. Give an example of Natural join (he gaved me two tables, i answered)
6. Find the greatest among the following(6/7, 8/9,5/6).. i didnt
understand why did he asked that.. i answered it within 5 sec.

9. outer join .. types and an example.
The interview went swift all the way...
Prepare well for DBMS they are mainy interested in it.
