About the Institute :-
Banasthali Vidyapith is a fully residential national level institution
for women education located in rural surroundings and providing wide
spectrum of educational facilities from Nursery to Ph.D level in one
campus amidst ambience of Indian Ethos. In 1996 Vidyapith initiated an
innovative M.B.A. programme to bridge the gender gap in the business
world. WISDOM's vision is to prepare women for enlightened leadership
roles in all walks of life. The two year, full time, M.B.A. programme
is based on premise of combining reason and intuition in the form of
management wisdom. Located 72 km from Jaipur, it has its own Air
field. It admits a batch of 60 students and offers specialisation in
IT, Finance, HRD & Marketing.

A Bachelor's degree recognized by Association of Indian Universities,

Fee Structure
Annual Fee and yearly expenses for students are given below. These are
approximate and subject to revision
- Educational Fee (including Tuition Fee, Library Fee, - Rs. 33,000/-
Computer Fee etc) per annum
- Admission Fee - Rs. 1,000/-
- Security Deposit (Refundable) - Rs. 5,000/-
- Hostel fee including Room Rent, Electricity Charges, - Rs.12,500/-
Mess Charges (Vegetarian only) etc.
- Fee may be revised for the session 2003-04
* Fee for NRI/NRI sponsored candidates - US$ 2,500 p.a.
Campus and Facilities
Accommodation/Hostel Facilities :
Well furnished
& functional hostel accommodation is available inside the campus.
Boarding in Hostel is mandatory for all students.
Recreation :
Sufficient facilities exist in Banasthali for Flying, Horse Riding,
Badminton, Hockey, Lawn Tennis, Table Tennis, Basket Ball, Yoga,
Painting, Music, Dance, Swimming etc. Vidyapith has an
open-air-theatre also.
Catering/Mess
:
Besides Mess facility in the hostel, there is a canteen and a market
within the campus which cater to all essential requirements of the
students.
Health and
Welfare :
The Vidyapith
maintains a Hospital with sufficient medical facilities including a
chemist shop.
Computing :
Banasthali has excellent facilities in the field of computer science
and Information Technology. Its computer science department has been
identified by Department of Electronics, Government of India, as a
resource center for CALT (Computer Assisted Learning and Teaching).
The computer center is equipped with PENTIUMs // CELERONs / SGI
Multimedia Computer Systems with latest softwares. Internet is
freely accessible to the students through leased line. In addition
WISDOM has its own computer Laboratory with 30 computers.
Library :
The central library of Banasthali has a large and excellent
collection of books and Journals belonging to various disciplines.
Over 1,74,000 volumes, 665 periodicals and journals are being
received. The departmental library in "Mahindra Pragya Mandir" for
the management discipline has 35 Journals & Magazines are also
received. contains the latest titles on management & related
disciplines. It has been computerized with the help of INFLIBNET
