    B.Tech/M.Tech Integrated Dual Degree Course Admission-2013

    Centre for Converging Technologies Entrance Test (CCTET-2013)

    An exciting opportunity for XII Pass Science (Bio/Maths) students, who are passionate about innovation and looking for an opportunity in learning rapidly developing NBIC technologies
    Applications are invited for admission to 5 year (ten semesters) Integrated Dual Degree B.Tech/M.Tech course for academic session 2013-14 in the four streams of converging technologies


    B.Tech/M.Tech Integrated Dual Degree Course: Nanotechnology, Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, Information and Communication Technology, Cognitive and Neuroscience
    The innovative course has been designed to train students to pursue research and development activities in NBIC technologies
    Seats: 120+15 NRI seats
    Entrance Test Fee: Rs 1000/-
    Admission through National and International level eligibility test like SAT, JEE, NEET, AIIMS, BITSAT, RPET

    Minimum Eligibility: Admissions will be made purely on the basis of merit in the entrance test CCTET-2013 in respective reservation categories

    Minimum eligibility for above courses 55% in the qualifying examination
    To be eligible for entrance test and admission to the first semester of the five year (ten Semesters) Integrated Dual Degree Master’s Programme in the four streams of Converging Technologies, the candidate should have passed the XII (10+2) with science subjects (both Mathematics and Biology group students are eligible)
    Students who are appearing for XII examination in 2013 are also eligible to appear in CCTET-2013
    However, their eligibility for admission is subjected to fulfilling the requirement of passing XII examination
    NRI: NRI quota students are exempted from the test
    They should send application form on a plain paper with NRI/NRI sponsoring certificate, a demand draft of Rs 5,000/- in favor of Director, Centre for Converging Technologies and payable at Jaipur as application processing fee
    The NRI students will be charged five times the regular student fee and the seat can not be converted into Non-NRI in any situation


    Admission Procedure: Admission to the five year (ten semesters) Integrated Course Master of Technology in the four streams of Converging Technologies will be made through an All India Entrance Examination (CCTET-2013) to be conducted by the University of Rajasthan
    CCTET: CCTET-2013 will be of total 3 hrs duration (without break)
    The test will comprise of multiple choice questions with choice of four answers, only one being the correct answer

    Last date for on line submission of application form: 30th June, 2013 (Sunday)
    Last date for submission of hard copy of application form: 01st July, 2013 (Monday) upto 4.30 PM
    List of Students called for First counseling displayed: 02nd July, 2013 (Tuesday)
    Date of First Counseling of Candidates of all Categories for allotment of seats: 04th July, 2013 (Thursday)
    List of Students called for Second counseling displayed: 05th July, 2013 (Friday)
    Date of Second Counseling of Candidates of all Categories for allotment of seats: 06th July, 2013 (Saturday)
    Date of University Application Form Submission with other fees payable: 08th July, 2013 (Monday)
    List of Students for Third Counseling and/or waiting list and schedule: To be notified later
    First Semester Commences: 08th August, 2013 (Monday)
