    Admission into B.Tech and B.Arch Programme in Odisha through JEE (Main) from the Academic Session 2014-15

    State of Odisha will participate in the JEE (Main) 2014 conducted 'A "by the CBSE in respect of the admission to UG programmes in B.Tech / and B.Arch programmes (except Lateral Entry) in Government and Private Engineering Colleges including State Universities and Autonomous Colleges of Odisha from the academic session 2014-15. There will be no separate OJEE entrance examination for admission to B.Tech and B.Arch programmes in Odisha during 2014. But the counselling for admission to aforesaid two programmes shall be done by the State Govt, through Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee as usual based upon the JEE(Main) 2014 merit list.

    Hence, the candidates desiring to take admission to aforesaid two programmes in Government and Private Engineering Colleges of the state including State Universities and Autonomous Colleges are requested to appear in the JEE(Main) 2014 to be conducted by the CBSE, for which they need to apply online for JEE(Main)-2014. The online application process JEE (Main) is continuing. The last date for application is 26th December 2013. For the application for JEE (Main) 2014, the candidates can apply in the website.
    Eligibility:
    Candidates who have passed their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2012 or 2013 are eligible to appear in JEE (Main)

    Candidates who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2014 are also eligible to appear in JEE (Main)

    Age for General Candidates: Born on or after 1st October, 1989

    Age for SC/ST/PWD Candidates: Born on or after 1st October, 1984

    NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS- The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at JEE (Main) shall be limited to 03 (three)

    NO. OF ATTEMPTS AND AGE LIMIT FOR THE STATES OF MAHARASHTRA AND ODISHA

    Since the states of Maharashtra and Odisha have now joined JEE (Main) system from 2014.

    The age limit, for admission to institutions in these states which were earlier admitting candidates based on their state level examinations, will be as per their past practice only. The number of attempts in such cases will also remain same as per their past practice. This will however be obviously not applicable for admission to IITs/NITs/IIITs/CFTIs.

    Keep the Scanned Images of your Photograph, Signature and Left Hand Thumb impression ready in JPG format only.

    Fill in the Online Application Form

    Upload Scanned Images of Photograph, Signature and Thumb Impression Pay Examination Fee by Debit/Credit card or e-Challan (generated after submission of details in online application form) Download Acknowledgement Slip and keep the same in safe custody.
