    CERTIFIED BUSINESS MANAGER (CBM)

    CERTIFIED BUSINESS MANAGER (CBM)

    ABOUT CBM

Association of Professionals in Business Management (APBM) is educating business professionals in all facets of business management through examination and continuing education. It exists to promote the value of Certified Business Manager® / Certified Associate Business Manager Designations to business and industry and to ensure that all CBMs / CABMs in good standing have access to the most current business management knowledge available.
The CBM is a masters-level certification based on an MBA curriculum and can be earned within one year and for less than $2000. With the CBM, you are able to show current and future employers that you have mastered an MBA curriculum. The CBM helps you:
while you are earning your MBA
after you have earned your MBA
if you choose not to earn your MBA
With the CBM, you gain a competitive advantage by demonstrating mastery of core and functional areas of business management.

    BENEFITS AFTER CBM

Organizations need people with broad-based, cross-functional knowledge and a total business perspective. There are at least 75 specialty certifications in the business field addressing specialties such as accounting, finance, auditing, fraud investigations, human resources, information technology, manufacturing, purchasing, industrial and corporate security, engineering, financial services (insurance, financial planning and securities), and quality.

The CBM is the only generalist business certification available in the world. While specialty certifications are excellent in focus, a generalist certification will enhance a specialist’s effectiveness by expanding his/her viewpoint to incorporate the inter-relationships with the other specialty areas. This is especially important as functional specialists are being assigned more cross-functional responsibilities, understand basic business principles and employ advanced management skills and tools to compete in this highly competitive global marketplace.

    CBM Benefits:

    The only generalist’s business certification
    Comprehensive MBA based curriculum
Addresses the real needs of business organizations
Enhanced and broadened current business knowledge
    Improved decision making and makers
    Increased career potential
    Supported with continuing education
Regardless if you are entering a graduate business program, just started your career, changing careers, looking to advance, or have been in your current career for many years, the CBM is designed to always be relevant. As the only generalist’s certification, it will travel with you and remain applicable, regardless of your position, employer, location or function.
