    Retail Business Services Bangalore

    RBS was setup in 2008 in Chennai and in 2011 in Bangalore to support Retail Operations for North America, UK, Germany, and France marketplaces. We currently support various tasks such adding new items to Amazon catalog (Chennai), troubleshooting inventory related problems raised by Amazon warehouse associates and systems through workflow tools and address post sales issues via Andon-cord process. Some of our tenets include standardizing repetitive tasks , Identify automation possibilities, and perform tasks that are measureable for which throughput goals may be set. Our success will be defined by our ability to set and meet these goals for task completion with well-defined quality measures

    Job Description:

    RBS is an integral part of Amazon online product lifecycle and buying operations. The team is designed to ensure Amazon remains competitive in the online retail space with the best prices, wide selection, and high quality product information. The tasks handled by this group have a direct impact on customer buying decisions and online user experience. In this role the individual works on one or more critical tasks for a particular retail product category. These tasks include but are not limited to populating/procuring content for the product catalogs on the Amazon Web Site, interacting/coordinating with external vendors/manufacturers, identifying and correcting errors, maintaining records of work received and work performed. In addition to being a production resource the individual is expected to take on larger organizational roles such as initiating and owning process improvement projects, mentoring junior associates, participating actively in stakeholder calls/meetings etc.

    I. Skills

    a. Strong written and spoken communication skills

    b. Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite

    c. Typing skill of 40 wpm with 100% accuracy

    d. Flag any updates received from stakeholders on process to Team Lead/Manager

    e. Be part of client calls to raise challenges, lead, and document conference discussions

    f. Audit tasks assigned to junior associates and report quality metrics (Senior Associate)

    g. Train new staff and give feedback to the training team (Senior Associate)

    VI. Experience and Qualifications

    a. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

    b. B1 and above for French Associates * (From any recognized university or Alliance Française)
