    Course Description:
    Craft Instructor (Mechanic (Motor Vehicle))
    Diploma in relevant branch of Engineering/National Apprenticeship Certificate/National Trade Certificate with minimum one year experience in industry.
    Age: - Between 18 to 40 years. Age relaxable for SC/ST candidates as per Govt. rules. No age bar for Sponsored candidates of Govt. nominee.
    Objective & Certificate: The course will provide comprehensive training in skill development and Principles of Teaching so as to make them qualified Trained Instructor in ITIs/ITCs and industry. Successful Trainees will' be awarded certificate NCVT, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India.
    Reservation: - First preference will be given to (1) Govt. nominees of State Director, in charge of craftsmen Training scheme, (2) Govt. Undertakings and industrial organisations. Out of sanctioned strength 15% seats are reserved for SC, 7.5% for ST and 3% for PH candidates subject to availability of seats left after allotments to the Govt. deputed candidates. Admission will be offered on MERIT BASIS.
    Hostel: - Hostel facilities are available on payment of hostel rent, hostel service charges and hostel caution money as applicable. Messing charges 'are separate.

    How To Apply:
    Candidates desiring admission may apply in the prescribed application form obtainable by tendering Rs. 25/- as cost of the form. Registration Fees of Rs. 50/- to be paid at the time of submission of application by Cash if submitted in person or through Postal Order/Demand Draft in favour of DDO, ATI Kolkata, payable at Kolkata. For obtaining application forms, outstation candidates may send postal Order or Demand Draft of Rs. 25/- in favour of DDO, ATI Kolkata, enclosing therewith a Self Addressed Stamped envelope (Rs. 5/-) of size 12 cms x 25 cms. Candidates are requested to superscribe the words "Application Form for CTI" on the top of the envelope. A recent passport size photograph of the candidate and attested copies of all relevant certificates should accompany the application Forms duly filled in.
