Job Description
The Developer position provides technical leadership in multiple application development efforts for internal and client-facing systems. The position will lead and participate in every phase of the development cycle for a set of consumer-facing web applications.
Responsibilities Lead and work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment to develop web applications on the Microsoft IIS, .Net Framework and SQL Server platform
Will work with Development Team to meet technical expectations and goals
Contribute to the development and implementation of browser-based system.
Participate in routine product builds.
Participate in design and code reviews.
Participate in internal testing to identify problems early, perform error and stress scenarios.
Identify and recommend where new technologies may be incorporated
Will work with Business Analysts to aid in the design of the system
Mentor junior developers

Job requirements Must have in-depth experience and knowledge of the following technologies and methodologies: Server-side development (C#, SQL and T-SQL, SML), Client-side development (HTML, JavaScript, VBScript, DHTML, CSS), Methodologies (Design Patterns and Object Oriented Design)
Minimum of 5 years software development experience
At least 3 years of .Net Development experience or 3 years of Java and 1 year of .Net Framework experience
4-year college degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Must have extremely strong problem-solving and innovation skills
Must have a thorough understanding of
o How web applications are architected
o How web servers and clients interact
o General web technology
o Database design
Must be accustomed to working with Microsoft Development environment
o Visual InterDev/Studio/SourceSafe
o SQL Enterprise Manager and other database tools
o IIS (including installation & configuration)
o Office
o IE6+
o Other emerging technologies
Must be able to:
o Work effectively with others in a collaborative team environment
o Manage work assignments to meet deadlines under an aggressive schedule
o Translate business and design goals into usable product
o Align personal goals with business goals
o Display leadership and innovation in design while working with Business Analysts
o Act as project lead for larger development efforts
o Mentor junior developers
Desired Candidate Profile
Currently we are looking at the developer positions who could excel in their fundamental or basic knowledge in the areas of HTML, JavaScript, C#, ASP.Net, SQL Queries, SQL Server & RDBMS concepts, OOPS concepts, .NET framework fundamentals etc.

Education: B.Tech, B.E, MCA, M.Sc (Computers)

Relevant experience: 5 â 8 years
