Eligibility criteria: The admissions to the above programs will be made based on an entrance examination to be conducted by the University on Sunday, 23 May 2010 at the University Campus at 11:00 am. If any seat remains vacant, it will be offered to students on merit basis based on marks in 10+2 examination and score of AIEEE-2010/JEE of various states

Minimum 50% marks in class XII (qualifying exam) or its equivalent for programmes in Engineering (B.Tech), a candidate must have passed his/her 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry or Biology as one of the optional subjects and should have 50% overall aggregate in all the subjects. It is mandatory for the candidate to have pass grade in each subject of qualifying examination







Students appearing in class XII final year in 2010 can also apply

Fees: Tuition fees Rs 90,000/- per annum (payable in two equal installments at beginning of the semester); institutional development fund (IDF) Rs 10000/- per annum; caution money Rs 10000/- (to be paid once during the time of admission; refundable)

M.Sc in Bioinformatics/Biotechnology/Microbiology (M.Sc 2 years)

Eligibility criteria: Minimum 50% marks in B.Sc with Medical subjects Botany/Zoology/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology etc

Fees: Tuition fees Rs 60000/- per annum except for Microbiology which is Rs 65000/- per annum (payable in two equal installments at beginning of the semester); institutional development fund (IDF) Rs 10000/- per annum; caution money Rs 10000/- (to be paid once during the time of admission; refundable)

Allocation of seat: 25% seats are reserved for H.P. domicile

The University is located at Kathgarh, the seat of the famous Lord Shiva temple, near village Mirthal, 25 Km from/ on Pathankot- Jalandhar Highway (NH-1A). Pathankot is well connected by Train/ Bus on Delhi- Jammu main line, to Amritsar, Jalandhar, Gurudaspur, Hoshiarpur, Ropar Jammu and Kangra, Dalhousie and Dharmasala. Pathankot is also connected by Air from Delhi.....
