| IIT Mandi is
one of the eight new IITs proposed by the MHRD, Government of India. The
government has already identified a piece of land in Mandi district for
setting up of the IIT. The central government has decided that, IIT Mandi in
Himachal Pradesh will start functioning from 2009 academic session. |
