eighth Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) will be established in Medak
District, Andhra Pradesh. The classes started from the academic year
2008-2009. Currently the classes are conducted in a temporary establishment.
It will be located at Isnapur near Patancheru as it is considered an ideal
location, being close to Hyderabad and near the proposed Outer Ring Road.
